The kitchen features recipes that I have recently made and my notes on them. The kitchen is divided into two parts: the bakery and the restaurant. The bakery holds my baking recipes and the restaurant holds my cooking recipes :)

Ingredients for soft vanilla cake:
- 300g plain flour
- 25g cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 113g butter
- 105g vegetable oil
- 332g white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 tbsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 337g buttermilk
| Method for soft vanilla cake:
- Preheat your oven to 165 degrees celsius fan forced and grease and line a tall baking tin.
- Cream the butter, oil, and sugar for 2 minutes.
- Add the eggs in one by one.
- Add the vanilla, vinegar, and a third of the buttermilk.
- Sift in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder and gently fold into the mixture.
- Gently fold in the remaining buttermilk.
- Add the mixture to the tin and bake for 30 minutes.

 Ingredients for mac n cheese:
- 1 1/2 cups macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 twists black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
| Method for mac n cheese:
- Boil the chicken stock, milk, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper in a medium pot.
- Add the macaroni and cook for 9 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the cheeses until melted.
